THE MUSICIANS
The SOUFFLE project provides a jazz performance. Here are the possible formulations of our group:
– The piano-violin DUO: Eva Slongo (violin and voice) & Giovanni Mirabassi (piano)
– The QUARTET: The duo + François Moutin (double bass), and Lukmil Perez (drums)
– The QUINTET: The members of the quartet + Baptiste Herbin (saxophone)
The ideal places to host this project are mainly jazz clubs, festivals and associative venues. We are obviously open to studying any proposal.
Giovanni Mirabassi is an internationally renowned pianist: he will not agree to play on a keyboard, and the piano must be tuned and of good quality, if possible a grand piano.
The place must provide meals and accommodation in addition to the cost of the service.
MASTERCLASS and WORKSHOPS
EVA SLONGO is currently offering a JAZZ VIOLIN MASTERCLASS in addition to any programming of the “Souffle” project scheduled before January 31, 2022.
This masterclass lasts 2 hours, and the number of participants accepted is unlimited. The aim of this conference will be to awaken string instrumentalists (violin, viola, cello) to new horizons, thanks to improvisation. This masterclass may also be of interest to other instrumentalists, because Eva Slongo will talk a lot about jazz and improvisation in general, as well as the links made between jazz and classical music.
Eva Slongo also offers workshops over several days, with personalized monitoring of a small group of students. The conditions vary depending on the number of days and hours of lessons.
The other instrumentalists of the project can also give masterclasses in piano, double bass, drums, percussion and saxophone, as well as workshops over several days. The conditions are to be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
